Who is Dr. Lonnie Marie?
Dr. Londeria “Lonnie” Marie Taylor is the CEO & Founder of The Lonnie Marie Institute, a company dedicated to empowering individuals, schools, and organizations through heartfelt, tailored educator and sexuality coaching.
Our mission is to create a safe space where growth and transformation can thrive.
Dr. Lonnie's journey in education began in 2004 as a middle school math teacher in the Mississippi Delta. She later served as an academic magnet coach and principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Under her instructional leadership, students achieved the highest test scores in the school and the third largest in the district, despite being in one of the lowest-performing schools. As a principal, her school was recognized for moving from a failing status to a Successful School and earned the prestigious IB World School recognition.
A proud alumna of Mississippi State University, Dr. Lonnie holds a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. She also earned a Master's in Elementary Education, a Specialist's degree, and a Doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. Additionally, she is a Certified Clinical Sexologist, holding credentials from the Dr. Rachel Institute and the American Board of Sexology.
She’s the host of The Daily PUSH, a podcast dedicated to empowering women on their spiritual journey with the transformative power of God’s promises. Her new journal Reclaiming Me: Life After Divorce will launch this fall.
